Software & Hardware Classes The best way people learn is, by doing it their self on their own computer! Want something done that is going to cost a lot? Take a class and you'll never have to pay again because you'll know how to do it for yourself. Since our classes are one on one training, you tell me what you need to learn, and I will show you how to do it. It doesn't get any easier than that! You will not have sit through a lot of classroom training that you already know. With Cincy Tek you learn only what you want. I  have  taught  hundreds  of people just like you over the years how to use their computer. I hear a lot of comments like, I went to the classes but I still didn't understand it, or why can't they just show me instead telling me. My training method will work for you. You know what you want to learn how to do, and that's what I will teach you how to do. Cincy Tek offers on-site software classes in the following areas. Internet Classes: With good Internet skills the whole world, and everything in it, are just one click away. You will be able to find what you are looking for, when you learn how the search engines on the Internet works. Learn how to capture streaming media from the Internet. You can make your own CDs or DVDs from the music or videos you capture.You will be taught how to send and receive e-mail with attachments, and use the news groups for information and other files (software, movies and text). How & why to use an anti-virus program, file sharing and firewall software. The net has billions of free downloads like movies, music, text files and untold number of free and trial software titles, try it before you buy it software. (Internet access is not included.) Beginner Computer Classes: If you are new to computers you need to start here. You will be shown how to use the mouse and its buttons, keyboard, and you will be introduced to the Internet; you will be shown how to manage files, and how to back them up. (Software, Internet & hardware are not included.) Intermediate Computer Classes: You will be shown how to use windows, anti-virus software, download photos to your computer. E-mail is a very important way to stay in touch with friends & family. You will be taught how to send & receive emails and how to attach files & photos to your emails. Everyone loves to get something for free right? You will be shown where and how to download free software for your computer. (Software & hardware are not included.) Advanced Computer Classes: How to install Windows or restore your computer with the disc that came with it when it was new.  Learn how to partition & format a hard drive, how  to install drivers for your new hardware.You will be shown how to service a computer. (Software & hardware are not included.) MS Word: Learn to make  professional looking documents, add toolbars, text wrapping, envelopes, labels business  cards and to insert audio & images  in your documents. Use the mail merging option in word to make those mass mailings a snap, not an all day project. (Software is not included.) Excel: Learn how to make and use your own custom spreadsheets. (Software is not included.) Power Point: Learn how to make professional looking presentations, how to add audio, video and any photos you wish. (Software is not included.) Windows Movie Maker: With Windows moviemaker we will teach you how to edit your own movies. You will learn how to use a time line to edit your movies and to add background music and voice-overs. Add titles, scene transitions and video effects to make your movies look like they were professionally done. Graphic Classes: We will teach you how to restore a photo, touch up a photo and add to a photo. This is a very handy skill to have with all the digital cameras being used these days. You will be able to fix your photos that didn't come out like you wanted. You will learn how to use some of the best known and most commonly used graphic software. With the graphic skills you will learn, you will be able to make your own graphics. The software titles we use are the most commonly used. (Adobe products, MGI, Picture Publisher, and Corel) Web-page Design classes are also available. With these skills you could create your own family website. Post information and new photos for the whole family to share. (Software, Internet access, domain name & web host are not included.) DVD & CD-R Burning Classes: Learn how to copy any DVD or create your own . How to use and download pictures from a digital camera. Capture & edit your own movies and create a DVD from them. (Hardware & Software are not included.) Audio Editing Classes: Learn how to make music CDs from all of the MP3's you have. Make music CDs the way you want with any artist you wish. You will learn to rip your own CDs and assemble a music CD the way you want. (Software & hardware are not included.) Hardware Classes: Learn how to build a computer, install new hardware, what drivers are and why a computer need them and we will teach you how to install them and update them. (Software & hardware are not included.)

Computer Classes Pricing Computer classes are $20.00 per hour or you can buy a package and save. We offer a Senior discount of 10% off on labor & classes Value Packages Package 1: Five hours one day $80.00 = a savings of 20% off Senior discount $72.00 = a savings of another 10% off Package 2: Ten hours two days $160.00 = a savings of 20% off Senior discount $144.00 = a savings of another 10% off Our senior discount rate is 10% off on classes and labor only. You must be 55 or older and a non-business to qualify for our senior discount. All on-site classes have a $1.25 per mile per day. We use Yahoo Maps to calculate the mileage for the onsite service charge.
